TIme Warner Center Construction

The Time Warner center at Central Park South is truly one of Manhattan's unique skyscrapers. Completed two years after the fall of the World Trade Center towers 1 and 2, she, while not as symmetrical as the other twin towers of Central Park (those of Central Park West), provides an example of how architecture can make use of aerial space in a way pleasant to the occupiers and viewers of the structure. Having two towers, jutting out at a paralell, non impeding angle to each other, provides something different in the world of twin skyscrapers, Petronas Towers, although looming much larger, do have an honest rival in the graceful Time Warner Center.

Vincent, the towers were completed in 2003, after taking almost 2 and a half years to build. Construction commenced around the end of 2000. You may wish to change the information in the first post.
I like the Time Warner Center. I really do. Until they featured in that excuse for a movie, Cloverfield. Remember? What an awful film.

Agree there TN, they did not do any justice to the medium of film with Cloverfield. But there was some nice looking shots of the Time Warner Center - ya gotta admit that at least!
