Shiodome is interesting.

What about Kanda? What would be the closest area on the poll?

I voted for Asakusa because of the amazing temples there and the river. It has a very local and relaxed feel, and it's mostly a low rise area.

And there's a beer hall.

Thats the Asahi Beer Hall.

Asakusa is a pretty nice area, very laid back except for the hords of tourists at the temple.

Is there no love for the Pong anywhere here?

Shinjuku, where Lost in Translation was filmed looks very interesting.

I also like the look of Shinjuku and Asakusa, but I'll stick with my vote of Shiodome - it seems to be the real business centre of Tokyo.

Go Japan photo of Shiodome
